Lied-Duo Vlada Koieva & Julia Seckler

Lied-Duo Vlada Koieva & Julia Seckler is a creative partnership built on mutual understanding, sensitive musical interpretation, and a shared desire to bring music to life as a dialogue between voice and piano.

Both artists are originally from Odesa and graduated from the renowned Odesa Music Lyceum named after Professor Petro Stolyarsky. After graduation, their paths diverged, but fate brought them together again in Hamburg at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, where their collaborative musical journey began.

Since then, the duo has performed at various venues across Germany, including the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, where Vlada and Julia presented a program of Ukrainian art songs, as well as at other concerts devoted to the Lied repertoire.

In 2025, the duo won first prize at the Elise Meyer Competition and first prize at the Mozart Prize Competition in Hamburg. They have also appeared as guest artists at the Lied Academy on the island of Sylt.

The duo’s repertoire spans a wide range – from Western European and Ukrainian art songs to classical operatic arias, as well as various chamber and concert works. Their performances are characterized by sincerity, emotional depth, and natural musicality, creating an atmosphere of trust and inner light.
