Artist Profile
Vlada Koieva is a Ukrainian lyric soprano of Bulgarian descent, based in Hamburg, Germany, and Brussels, Belgium. She is known for her velvety, radiant, expressive voice and versatile repertoire, performing regularly on opera stages, in concert programs, and at international festivals across Europe.
Vlada began her musical education at the Odesa Music Lyceum named after Professor Petro Stolyarsky, where she studied choral conducting under Olga Kuzub. As a child, she toured extensively across Europe as a member of the “Pearls of Odesa” choir, led by Larysa Garbuz, performing on prestigious stages and at international festivals.
She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Conducting from the Odesa National Music Academy named after A. V. Nezhdanova (class of Valerii Rehrut), as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Opera and Concert Singing (class of Anastasiia Golub). In addition, she obtained a Master’s degree in Musical Art from the Kyiv University of Culture. In 2025, Vlada completed her Master’s studies in Opera Singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg under the guidance of Professor Geert Smits.
From March 2021 to December 2021, she was a member of the Opera Studio at the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, and from December 2021 to June 2023, she served as a soloist of the theater. In parallel, Vlada has teaching experience: from 2017 to 2022, she worked as a vocal and choral conducting teacher at the Odesa Music Lyceum named after P. S. Stolyarsky.
